Got a question DK, I really want to see Jarry succeed, do you think with a strong end of season would Ned be on his way out and the Penguins would run any combination of Jarry with Bloom, Larsson, or Murashov?

I've seen Jarry be a good goalie. He can do it. The inconsistency is funny enough jarring.
No one cares that Jarry played well. The games do not matter. I want pickering and Kov up. Stop pretending these games mean anything for this year

Wel all know what Jarry is, same as the entire league when the pens couldnt give him away a month ago. The season is over, why are they wasting time with this guy. Send him to Wheeling or home and call up some young guys to get them experience.
Not related to video…but I trashed the decision to trade Guentzel…and the reason was if you want to win you don't trade away a first line winger and a 40 goal scorer. They don't grow on trees.
So Dubas says now they are about acquisition…put my trashing of the trade in context:
Guentzel signed for 9 mil (I think he would have signed for less than Sid, but even for 9 mil)…that contract is a steal for a 40 goal scorer, in particular with cap going up. Instead, we got prospects, none of which are first line players and even as 2nd line or 3rd liners will take a few years to mature to perform in the playoffs (keeping in mind Guentzel is a proven playoff performer, with Sid and away from Sid), and now in free agency, where we have 26 million to spend, our choices are:
Tavares, Marner, Jamie Benn, Boeser, Ehlers, Brock Nelson, Mangiapane, Sam Bennett, Duchene, Tanev.
All around his age or older, and NONE have consistently scored 40 goals a season or 40 goals at all….or arguably aside from Mitch Marner who is wanting 13-14 million, can be said is better than Guentzel.
Now look back and tell me how that trade was a good move when management says they want to win in a short 2-3 year window while Sid is here….and explain to me how Dubas thought this through?

DK, Dubas has made it clear he wants to get younger established players. Do you think it's possible we see him go the way of the offer-sheet this summer? If you do, any players you could see him target?

So your J1Q on this episode talked about Karlesson. All you did was talk about Karlesson 's offensive play. Where he is completely lacking is his defensive play. He gave up quite a few bucks, passed pucks to the other team, got pushed around in the D-zone. That is the play we are upset about. Change his position to a winger & we might be happy. He is just full of mistakes at playing 'D'

re Karlsson. Great player on a wrong team. I think Dubas should have known this and not acquired him..maybe he will request a trade..I think he would like to win a Cup and knows that it isnt possible with the Pens..he's getting older… He needs to go for the teams sake, and for his sake.
In the future, the phrase you’re looking for to describe Jarry’s tell is “butterfly flair”. I’m probably Jarry’s biggest hater, but hoping he can figure it out enough to where he can at least earn back some trade value. Great show as always DK
