  1. Adams screwed himself going into the season when he resigned Jokiharju, Bryson and Krebs when he shouldve signed veterans. Shattenkirk and Giordano were begging for work. The youngest team in the league which the Sabres are, NEVER makes the playoffs!
I like todays moves , Cozens hasnt been the same since Hathway crushed his skull last season. Norris offers way more offence than Cozens , just hope his shoulder holds up. Hope JBD gets a chance to be Powers D partner as he is a good stay at home D man . If it doesnt work out i hope Pegula lets Adams or the new GM spend more money this summer and sign or trade for a top 4 D man and a top 6 forward .
Brannstrom although he is a smallish D man , is mobile and at least Dahlin now has a fellow Swede on the team .
Do you think Pegula fires Adams at the end of the season since the Sabres have missed the playoffs for the 5th time under Adams and 14 years in a row, not to mention that Ottawa, Montreal and the murder city dead things aka Detroit have blown past the Sabres in their rebuilds!

  2. Just shows Adams lack of moxie in making in season deals. Pushed to the edge of the deadline, only to take on someone who is damaged goods.

  3. 5 years and he still needs to self reflect? Another clueless GM who is a Terry Pegula puppet.

  4. Devon Levy as #Sabres starter next year? UPL it seems cannot carry the workload after all. That Tampa game was brutal. Unfortunately the D is tipping too many bucks in front of him all year. I think he's rattled by their sloppy reckless play.

  5. Good video, thank you. Worst thing about this team is they're so soft. Adams needed to get bangers years ago. Muckler did the rebuild right. Make teams hate to play you. Since Regier, it's been a cream puff organization

  6. Maybe the Sabres can payoff Doug Armstrong next year when he steps down from the Blues. They need someone with moxie.

  7. A partner for Power, yes, but they also need to go out and get a true #1 goaltender. UPL has regressed this season and Levi hasn't shown much at the NHL level up to this point so he is probably another year away, at least. UPL may turn into something in another year or two, but the Sabres can't wait for that.

  8. Get a big mean Damn that is experienced. Need veterans to teach these younger guys how to win!

  9. I wasn't worried about Dahlin in any of those scrums and the players felt the same. You think those guys would have jumped in like Dahlin was soft? They know Dahlin can handle himself and isn't afraid to get into a scrum when they see him in practice. UPL's GAA is skewed IMO, not every goal is on him for sure, yeah he could be better with some shots, but I'm not gonna crucify him as the #1 reason, more like the #2 reason IMO

  10. If you're on a 13-game losing streak, every rival GM is looking to pick your bones.
You don't make a move to please the media and make a big splash, with an ill-advised move, to save your job.
Adams is the current caretaker of this team. He deserves credit. He placed a value on a player and stuck to his guns.

  11. They showed such a spark after the trade that they went out and got shut out by the all world goalie Vitek Vanicek.

  12. Why is Adams still GM? Because Pegula doesn’t care about the Sabres or the fans.

  13. can't argue with any of this. I still think the team has pretty much all it needs in terms of talent. I question the will of almost every player to want to get to the next level. we need a goalie, we need a 2 RHD and I think 1 more high end forward.
