Hier soir, alors que les Sharks de San Jose ont accueilli les Islanders de New York, nous avons vu un fan des Sharks tenter l’une des choses les plus drôles que j’ai jamais vues! Vous voyez, les Sharks et leurs fans ont eu une rude épreuve dans les choses la dernière main pleine de saisons. Ils n’ont pas fait les séries éliminatoires depuis 6 ans, ont perdu Bedard, alors ils ont à nouveau débarqué et cette fois a terminé mort en dernier alors qu’ils obtenaient Macklin Celebrini. Leur recrue qui a été un étalon absolu au cours de sa première année. Il a son copain Will Smith qui a jumelé avec Tyler Toffoli a vu les 3 d’entre eux être très amusants à regarder cette saison malgré une fois de plus, se retrouvant fermement agrafe au fond du classement de la LNH. Les vibrations de San Jose sont bien toutes les choses considérées! Apparemment, leurs fans le sont aussi! Après que Lee ait eu un appel de près sur un tir qui devait être examiné pour déterminer s’il s’agissait d’un objectif, un fan des Sharks a tenté de soudoyer les responsables de la LNH avec 2 billets de 100 dollars plaidant avec l’arbitre pour l’appeler un objectif. C’était absolument hilarant! Cependant, il aurait dû soudoyer Ilya Sorokin, car l’homme était imbattable hier soir! Face à 20 tirs en première période seulement, il a arrêté les 20 et a été un facteur clé de ce jeu. Je couvre tout dans la vidéo de hockey de la LNH d’aujourd’hui!

have had a few games like that where we just get goalie'd or some shit (see also: OTTvSJS just before thanksgiving…); Kinda sucks cz this one felt like a winnable one on paper, but heartbreaking TDL for the Sharks's locker room def messed with the mental in COL and first one here at home 🙁 (not that SJ was gonna win against COL, but they'd been playing lights out on the huge roadie so…)
As a sharks season ticket holder, it's definitely been rough but also more competitive compared to the last 5 years

When I attended University of Illinois ice hockey games, we used to out money when the refs would skate out on the ice before the game saying "CLEAN GAME, REF! CLEAN GAME!". Good times.
I was there up in section 214, could see the guy 'bribe' the refs a couple times. It was hilarious. Frustrating game but still fun to watch 🙂

This season has at least been more fun to watch than some of the last few. Gonna miss Zetterlund though.
damn I can't believe Toffoli is on the Sharks….. Long time Kings fan here since the Forum days, Tyler did great work for us for a long time. Sad to see the sharks on hard times, Sharks/Kings has always been a rivalry I enjoyed, hope they can get back to the playoffs soon!

TL:DR the hawks are going young and getting fun, Hope to see it develop similar to dynasty years.
Honestly i think the vibes in Chicago are about to skyrocket. Chief hockey terrorist Seth Jones finally got shipped out (and with a great return too). What came back was a young goaltender and a roster spot to be filled by one of the hawks numerious up-and-comers. And now two more vets got moved as well to detroit in Craig Smith and Mrazek. Sad to see razza go as he was almost singlehandedly keeping Chicago a watchable team through last years AHL roster and Soderblom woes, and parts of this year up until he got hurt.
And from those two we get a former 1st rounder and 25 year old Veleno who im hoping just needs a change of scenery much like Mikheyev has benefitted from. Not to mention ANOTHER roster spot for a young guy to fill. The average age of this team has absolutely PLUMMETED this trade deadline. Young guys like Nazar, Del mastro, Dach, and Slaggert are keeping it fun to watch, while Soderblom and now Knight are absolutely standing on their heads most nights considering they let up 35-40 shots a game. Not to mention Donato, a shining example for these young players of effort and readiness for every stride, every shift, every game. hes also having a carreer year while doing so and now potentially going to be re-signed (please KFC drop another banger). Guys like Maroon and Foligno keep a steady presence and stick up for the younger guys, team vibes seem great. Bedard is steadily improving his defense and his faceoff percentage, two things a center (if he plays there) really needs to be elite in this league.
Theyll have their bad periods every night or two, but this young team seems to have a lot more bite and response to them, a nice side effect of rookies playing for their spot in the show. I really didnt know how good i had it growing up watching the coalescence of some of the best players ever to play hockey onto a single team in the mid to late 2000s. I mean man Kane and Toews were ELECTRIC, Keith and Seabs were absolute monsters at the blue line. Crawford was probably the most grossly underrated player in decades, I mean Kaner straight up said that Crow should have won finals MVP. He always showed up, especially in the playoffs. One of the biggest Vezina snubs ive ever seen. He just could quite never garner the attention and recognition guys like Price and Luongo and Lundqvist, despite at least a lot of the time deserving it. I really hope to see our young guys now turn into players like the dynasty hawks. The trajectory seems there and Davidson seems to really have a knack for this GM thing. Bedard will be just 25 in 2030, similar numbers for a lot of guys on this team. His prime would still be just starting, man what a windfall we get the second coming of Patrick Kane (sorry SJS lol) just as we had to trade him. (Kane pls come back and embue Bedsy with your jedi magic).
Im so excited to see a team like this develop. It feels like we're finally coming out of the trenches of the league, as are the sharks shortly as well. I was at the Hawks v Kings game recently when Knight debuted. He absolutely was breakdancing on his head for us in his Panthers gear against a playoff team like the Kings. It was so nice not having to watch jones pout around, look off our superstar franchise center just to send it high and wide with an ill advised slapshot, and then shit himself at the blueline for a GA like 2 or 3 times a week. It was clear he didnt care though i cant blame him, he signed up for a quick retool, not a full blown rebuild. Florida seems happy with him, Chicago fans are almost all happy hes gone, and we love our new tendy so far, so win for everyone. Its gonna be a fun next decade or two.
