    You can slam your shoulder into a guys head (if he's a red wing), you can slash at a guy's skates on a breakaway and trip him (if he's a red wing), you can cross check the back of their calf (if they're a red wing), and you can rake your stick across his face (if he's a red wing), but GOD FORBID you hit a guy a wittwe bit too hawd (if you're a red wing), because that's the kind of dangerous behavior that injures a player and we over in LaLa Land call that roughing. My whole life I've tried so hard to be impartial to the refereeing in this league and they're making it more and more impossible to do anymore.

    What more can you ask a team to do than what the Red Wings did tonight?

    Glad the Sens won, but the Defense needs to stop letting so many pucks through, without Ullmark, it could have been a 6-2 loss EASILY. I think the D needs to do better, they're putting way too much burden on Ullmark, and as much of a great goalie he is, he can't be making those miraculous saves one after another, it's just not sustainable

    Well, one team got a top goalie in the off season, Cozenz, Zetterlund at the deadline.

    The othter got another mid tier goalie in the off season, Smith and Mrazek at the deadline.

    One will be stuck in no mans land, one will actually have a legit chance at making the playoffs.

    You get what You pay to get Mr Yzerman.

    Ottawa looked complacent. They were dominated for two periods. Last night if John Quick plays the same, the Rangers beat Columbus. Feel bad for Detroit; its hard to see a positive this late in the season because they put so much into tonight and instead of a 6-2 blowout win, its a 2-1 loss

    From a diehard Bruins fan…. here's my virtual goalie hug, Linus. That was classic Ullmark when he's on top of his game. What made the Bruins so successful with the Ullmark-Swayman tandem was that we could alternate goalies depending on which one of them was on a streak. It always worked out perfectly. When Swayman started getting sloppy, Ullmark would go on a hot streak, and vice-versa. If Ullmark stays healthy, I do see him as a goalie that can carry the team to a playoff run. So happy to see Linus playing well on a team that are contenders.
    Also… The one goal that actually did get by him was less than an inch away from getting enough on that shot. He got it with the pad… another inch of the pad and that puck was going wide.

    Of all nights, Ullmark had to have the game of his career on this one! GG Sens. Hell of a performance from your tendy. Couple soft calls for both sides but that Seider call with 5 minutes left was just horrible. Take em both or don’t take either.
