  1. Vancouver such an easy team to beat especially if they made it to the playoffs. All you have to do pound the crap out of 43 hit 40 once and they fold like a cheap suit.

  2. The Canucks have no grit, no push back, and 3 players in their line up named Pety, and when Alvin steps to the podium and says he cant talk about Boeser and what little Vancouver could have got for him at the trade deadline, a prepaid phone card is better than nothing

  3. You fans need to call out Tocchet. You cannot give your best offensive players only 2-3 offensive zone starts. You need GOALS and cannot score goals without offensive zone starts.
Friggin' mind boggling the line juggling as well. Also, Hughes is UNDERSIZED while world class. Canucks need two more world class players to be a contender.

  4. Problem is too many injuries. I believe they only play 1 game this season with full lineup.

  5. Short answer. No.
They have a chance with him, but, no chance at round two.
It is hard to believe that this is virtually the same team that was first in the Pacific last year.

  6. It’s hard to see the Canucks going far this postseason even with Quinn Hughes.

  7. I'd rather see some other team make the playoffs…both for the better hockey, and to put an early end to Canucks' fans humiliation.

  8. Canucks only have 2-3 players NHL level. Rest is AHL. Top guys can’t score. They are not going anywhere

  9. As long as you get in the playoffs every team has a chance at the cup. Maybe they should let go of all the little girl drama thats on that team.

  10. Boeser hasnt been very good since coming back from his concussion, which is too bad he was doing well before

  11. Something tells me this has something to do with the Acquilinis not letting management trade Brock just so they can sell tickets.

It’s also foolish for a bubble team like the Canucks to pay these absurd prices for rentals this season. Brock Nelson went for a 1st Rounder and Luke Schenn went for a 2nd plus a 4th…

  12. Canucks are screwed without Hughes, but they still do have a shot at the last playoff spot. There are four mediocre teams in the mix, and it's basically just a game of musical chairs. Unfortunately, whichever team claims that spot will probably just be an easy out for the Jets.

  13. No. Not when Multi-Million Dollar Man, EP40, manages to go through an entire game as the center of the number one line WITHOUT a shot on goal. I retired in 2006 with a decent salary…EP earns more in one game than I earned in my best THREE YEARS combined. Makes me sick watching Ghost Boy hiding out for the whole game.

  14. Thought about for a few more minutes. Answer is still NO. But I can speculate what will happen to this team if they continue to turn turtle…thye will have a new coach and GM tandem next year.

  15. Unless you're a top 5 team, nobody is expecting too much. For the Canucks this year, getting in and maybe getting to game six is a win in my books for this year's team.

  16. The Canucks do this every year, they have a good year or two and look like their figuring things on how to be a contender and then they completely piss it away the next year. 55 years of the crap and the most pathetic team in hockey other than the Sabers.

  17. They should just shut every injured player down for the season and play all their rookies to get them experience, THEIR SEASON IS OVER ANYWAYS.
