Crazy how section 8 won both section A and AA state titles
Kinger was a lost soul selling split the pot. He was caught in a daze. I did a double take. i didn't even think it was him. Maybe it was just a long week of hockey. That Hibbing kid has definitely talked to a few Hibbing moms. I dont like the "wooo" you got it. The Matt Koalska "Polish Leap" is a top 5 moment in that building. I love that celebration.
Carter looks like he's in his 20s
Kinger i'm not sure what you're on saying that the team looked great against Pittsburgh. Yes more shots but realistically we couldn't get anything going all game. Especially on the powerplay which is killing us!
I was telling people at work that this was the best tournament, EVER! I think the only other time I was this excited about the tourney was back in '76 when my school, Richfield, went to the final. They lost to Grand Rapids, who won the second championship in a row. It was sad we lost but GR was impressive.
Region 8 finally got the recognition that they deserve being outside the seven county metro area. Doing their own thing.
