I think maybe Leafs need leadership, i'm not sure, but the teams that win a lot off playoff series usually have a really strong leadership from 2 or 3 players (not always star players)…on the Leafs, i really dont see that……Look at this year, Whitecloud hits Knies high, he had to leave the game and.nothing much happened to Whitecloud..Knies had to take care of it himself at a later date…but Whitecloud should have been seen to right after the high hit, nobody stepped up to let him know you dont do that to our players

I knew tanev injury looked bad . Thought he separated his shoulder . Berube said day to day and this has now been 2 weeks . He’s still not back , wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t see him again till April.

It was obvious that Dubas and the Pens colluded while Dubas was still in MLSE employ. Dubas looked straight at the assembled media at the end of the season scrum, which Shanahan asked him not to do, then, not only did he do it anyway, he flat out lied multiple times all the while knowing he had the president and GM job with the Pens.
The lie that still rings in my ears was stating if he (paraphrasing) "decided not come back because of personal problems at home you wouldn't see me suddenly turn up on another team in a couple of weeks" WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT HE DID!!
So, the Pens and Dubas were guilty of tampering, no question. Why didn't the Leafs file a formal complaint and get a bunch of free draft picks? That's exactly what I would have done, if only to have a start replenishing what Dubas pilfered for NOTHING!
My deepest, heartfelt and sincere apologies to all Pens fans, you have already seen exactly what Dubas is capable of, the one thing he excels at far above and beyond every other NHL GM – INCOMPETENCE and TEAM WRECKING!
Sadly, by the time the owners realise what they've done, it will be too late!

By the time Kyle "squirrel Scat" Dubas walks out of the building for the last time, your prospects and picks cupboard will be empty save for a pile of acorns, walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, almonds, beech nuts, pine nuts, and macadamia nuts he's mostly foraged off the forest floor, as well as carrots leafy greens like lettuce, chard, kale, spinach, or arugula Bean sprouts and Celery which he's scoffed from his colleagues' lunches!!
Have the maintenance staff to set up a step ladder, pop out some of the false ceiling tiles and shine their flashlights around the entire length and width of the building. I'd bet the farm (which I don't own) they'll find a large pile of twigs, leaves, moss, shredded bark, and grass.
Once they find his winter lodging it should be fairly easy to find several cashes of food in close proximity to his lair. The Dubas aka "Squirrel Scat" is a crafty little animal who keeps his vittles spread around in smaller cashes rather than risk losing it if another filthy varmint should find his stash.
Some of us use whisky, beer, shine while others scream and blast out strings of filthy, foul four letter verbal nuclear bombs, while others take solace in blowing huge holes in their tvs with 44 magnums and such.
Myself, I've always found immature childish insults and name calling to be quite soothing. It's easy on the liver, doesn't bother the kidneys or pancreas and…all men have a secret which I'm about to expose because that's how I dooz it – all men either outwardly and unabashedly, or secretly enjoy childish, immature name calling!!
