As a flames fan, I can say. The lightning are a hell of a good team. But, the flames need to play some better d. We steal the puck, but then immmedietally give it away. We need to start gaining traction if we are going to make the playoffs.
Scorey Perry has low key turned out to be a fantastic fit for the Lightning. He got off to a slow start, but has surpassed his goal production for the last 2 seasons with Dallas and Montreal.
I'd trade Johnny hockey..first thing..any body else ..step forward…no one cares about canadian hockey..sold it to the americans..dont watch and especially dont go…if u want ur game back..
That first assist by Kucherov was astounding. To take a full-speed pass, and one-time the PERFECTLY WEIGHTED assist to the guy on the other side of the goal! Not many people in the league can do that. Maybe only one. I hope he can stay healthy : )
That second goal was like: Keep your eye on Braden Point. Who? It's in the back of your net. That play by Kucherov and Point and it's just the other teams have no idea what's going on.
All of a sudden the Flames look like they are a last place AHL team playing in the NHL. This could easily have been 9-1 and from the drop of the puck the only question was how badly they'd lose.

This Lightning team just went from good to scary good. Having Kuch and Point back, oh my word, this is going to be a stretch of hockey to watch.
