What an embarrassment. Saturday night of hockey and again there is no passion from the Leafs tonight. Sens came out tonight with a purpose. To make the playoffs. Most of these games for the rest of this last stretch are playoff games. This is unacceptable for this team to just wait until the playoffs to start considering to play playoff hockey. We are in the middle of March. Teams are playing for the playoffs. Leafs are locked in the playoffs but yet other teams behind them are playing their ass off to just get in. Sens have a better chance against the Panthers or the Lightning than the Leafs. The next game is against the Flames. They are playing for a spot in the postseason. We expect that same mentality from the Leafs because this is the worst time to play like shit.

Probably one of the biggest mistakes the Leafs made in the last decade when it comes to this team was giving every single one of the top 4 forwards a no move / no trade clause in their deals.
The threat of being moved on just isn't there for them and they have tied up so much of the cap in 4 guys that know they aren't going anywhere no matter how they perform.

Ottawa is now playing like Florida. Good forecheck and physical play , especially along the boards and good goaltending . A team on the rise . Whereas the leafs are not. Their fluff four fade away against physical play and their defense, goal tending is just not good enough .
