Last week, defence was one of our biggest weaknesses… now it's the best in the NHL? People are funny!
I thought this was going to be a parody. Two weeks ago, Bouchard was one of the worst defensive defencemen around (according to many Oiler fans), Nurse was being paid millions of dollars too much to be a high-event 3-4 defenseman, Ekholm is your best defenseman but he is getting old and injury prone, the new guy looks good so far but who knows, Kulak is what he always has been a 5-6 defenseman, just don't ask him to provide extra minutes. The team needs to learn to commit to defence, that is what needs to happen for you guys to win.
