As a Kentuckian who is a Sharks fan, I understand JB’s experience. I started playing ice hockey when I could afford gear (after basic training). I played street hockey like crazy though and went to as many Thoroughblades as I could. Still playing beer league and loving it.
Leafs second line has 92 goals. Here’s a question: which line in the NHL has more? Now keep in mind this is a second line. Weird how no one is talking about this.

Why is sitting ovechkin such a taboo thought here. Do we not remember last year? We pushed Austin Matthews to the very end to get his 70. He got hurt, which impacted our play in the playoffs last year, and he has been playing like he’s injured ever since. Do you risk your shot at another Stanley cup over a stat that doesn’t have to be won this season to count? He could break Gretzkys record just as easily in the playoffs too.
The man’s 39 years old, rest him and save him for the playoffs.
