Put him on the 3rd pair, maybe even the 4th pair.
move him to 2nd line, build some confidence
Sit him.
With the cap going up, retain and trade for whatever you can get
More like how can they get rid of him
OMG we have him for 5 years? ….Damn. Ya put him with Tanev.
Sit him and bring up Myers.
He a bumbaclot, worst player on the D.
I like the idea of a defensive dman to pair with him.
Let Morgan play to his capabilities, like Oilers did with Paul Coffey who was an all-out Offensive DMan with zero defense
Doesn't matter whom he's paired with. At 31 Morgan's skating skills have declined considerably. He doesn't have the speed to carry the puck anymore and he also can't seem to make a good breakout pass and he's not big or strong enough to win corner batttles. So what's left?
Leave him in the press box is the best way to maximize Morgan Reilly. Just loosing cap space instead of Hockey games.
Looks like Reilly has lost a step.
Rielly is exactly what ails the Leafs: entitled, no accountability. He is overweight, lost a step and a half and has terrible defensive IQ.
At the end of the season I would ask him where he wants to go , we are moving on from Morgan.
The game has passed him by. No he is not a better player.
Defenceman are big strong gap closers.
Morgan is soft and a one trick pony.
Bye Morgan
0:32 yeah let’s break up the one leafs defence pair that’s actually working in order to maybe salvage something from Rielly. THANK FUCK you don’t coach the leafs.
Ask him to waive his no trade clause in the office season.
He can't get his shot through from the point.
Robidas island, or move him to third line winger
In response to the title of the TSN video in question, buying out this off-season what by then remains of Morgan Rielly’s contract shouldn’t be out of the question. He has a no-move clause that he may decide to waive although I don’t see it likely he will. Even buying out what remains of his contract will result in a per-season cap hit lower than his existing US$7.5-million one.
Get rid of him
Healthy. Scratch.
They can't. He's done, he's been terrible for a few years now. Move on. Get a bag of pucks for this guy.
