Crosby has great stats for sure, but that only tells a small story of the player. The amount that Crosby has brought to the entire Penguins organization is just unbelievable. He is the perfect leader and does everything he can to will his team forward. Amazing milestone and congratulations to The Kid
This guy had to deal with Concussions and major injuries in the middle of his prime. He still looks this good 20 years in. He defied all expectations and truly became of the greatest to ever play the game.

I always thought Sid was a class act. If you doubt it, I invite you to check out the video of him consoling Martin St Louis after he lost his mom during a playoff series between the Penguins & the Lightning some years ago. That speaks volumes to Crosby's character.

Honestly, I don't think this counts. He has 4 seasons where the number of points he scored is lower then the number of regular season games that teams played that season. 18 of Gretzky's seasons meet this metric. That's like saying someone batted .300 for 20 MLB seasons when they have seasons in there with under 100 at bats. This is made up nonsense.

NHL will miss Crosby when he decides to retire. I’m so grateful to have been able to watch home play since his minor hockey days to the amazing player and person he’s become. It’s just amazing especially thinking back to all the injuries he’s had to overcome during his prime years. I hope Crosby gets to play with McDavid again also. Awesome to see those two legends having fun on the ice

Crosby is better all around than Gretzky, He also dealt with a debilitating concussion which resulted in his brain having to be "rebuilt".
