    You knew it was coming but not his fault. Look at their roster. They have no one except TK. A good goalie could have had them in playoff contention. The blame falls squarely on DB.

    The continue disrespect to Jared Bednar from people like Tyler is wild. Dude has been coaching the Avalanche for almost 10 years and led them to a Stanley Cup only not that long after the team had their worst season in franchise history.

    Maybe they should consider hiring Jay Pandolfo he is good with young players and could be a good fit in philly

    Torts is a dinosaur. Hasn't won anything in 22 years. 22 years. He drives off good players. Tries to turn scorers into 4th line checkers. Guarantee the reason Cutter Gauthier didn't want to play in Philly was Torts. Johnny Gaudreau didn't want to play for his hometown because of Torts. He's good at taking a bunch of AHL tweeners and getting the most out of them (close to 500). His style of coaching has long past. Stop calling him a good coach. He was a good coach 22 years ago.

    Its not just tortorella. How are their draft picks? Not so good. How is the farm doing? I dont know but they are not bringing nhl ready players up. Questionable trades. The whole franchise is a mess.

    You are FLAT out wrong Frank. Torts was absolutely the right coach to start this rebuild. The team was a country club with zero accountability, culture, work ethic, and ZERO standard. He came in instilled all of that and the team clearly played MUCH harder with an actual standard under Torts. Now, overall the long term I can agree. But to start the rebuild and do what he did, it was absolutely the right coach. I do think his time came to an end and he wore thin BUT, he is leaving the team in good positioning for the future. At least work ethic, standard wise.
