In a recent game a goal tender was being held in place in the crease…no interference. Here the golaie isn't really hindered…yet there is interference. The lack of consistency is astounding.

Did these play by play announcers forget that they were calling a hockey game. How boring.
Terrible call against the Predators on the disallowed 🚫 😕 goal. If the goalie is outside his crease and kicking his legs 🦵 out everywhere, it can not be goaltender interference.
It's as bad 👎 as calling a foul on a three-point shooter in the NBA or college, who kicks his legs up the air, trying to draw contact after jumping and shooting the basketball 🏀.
Preds got robbed. It's what happens when you're a team having a bad season, but they should've scored more against a not very good Canadiens team tonight.
I'm very glad that Montreal is likely to make the playoffs with Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg, and Edmonton. I'm sad that Calgary and Vancouver collapsed down the stretch, though, and St. Louis and Minnesota got hot 🔥 because the odds of a Canadian Stanley Cup finalist or champion 🏆 is much higher if all seven teams make the postseason!!
