Look out Toronto…… these guys are PISSED…. and waiting for YOU.

  2. Lmao my favorite part is the Sens lost to clinch a spot, and it took them 78 games😂, first round exit coming up and then they will miss the playoffs for another 10+ years 😂😂😂

  3. From the 2019-20 season to last season at least two Western Canadian teams qualified for postseason play in each. It’s likely that because the Oilers or Flames will qualify for this postseason, there will be multiple Western Canadian teams that in the same season qualify for postseason play for at least a sixth straight season. When, from the 1989–90 season to last, did at most 1 Western Canadian team qualify for postseason action? I count, going backwards from this season, the season(s) of:
    – 2017-18 when the Jets, but no other such team, qualified
    – 2015–16, when no Eastern or Western Canadian team qualified
    – 2013–14 as the Habs were the only Canadian team that qualified
    – 2012-13, 2011-12, 2010–11 and 2009–10 with the Canucks, unlike any of the others in any of those seasons, having qualified
    – 2007–08 with the Flames, unlike any of the others, having qualified
    – 2001–02 as the Canucks, unlike any of the others, qualified
    – 1999-2000, 1998–99, 1997–98 and 1996–97 as the Oilers, unlike any of the others in any of those seasons, qualified

While this season likely will feature at least two Western Canadian teams that qualify for postseason play for a seventh straight season, the last seven seasons that I count with at least two Eastern Canadian teams that have qualified for postseason play in the same season are the seasons of 2024-25, 2020-21, 2019-20, 2016–17, 2014–15, 2012–13 and 2009-10.
