Pickard for now. He's playing well. I think he's earned the chance to be 1A. Offseason goaltending improvement? Who would that be? Robin Lehner best of UFA class. Rest of group unremarkable. That's why you have scouts. Maybe they can find a difference maker hidden among all the UFA names. Make a trade? Who might be available as an upgrade? At this point that's a guess. All the elite goalies already signed with their teams. Would I trust Bowman to make such a trade without giving away more of the team's future? No. So far, I can't see how he's made the team better. I hope that will change. The defensive play in front of whoever is in goal must be better. If that doesn't happen, it's lights out and see you next year.
