@Flyers de Philadelphie

  1. It would be corrupt if Lane does not win the Calder. The other two teams are not even in the playoff race. Cheers.

  2. Ryan Poehling scored a hat trick and shootout goal before his rookie season for his debut with the Habs to end season. As good as any other rookie was this year. Hutson is a generational defenseman.

  3. Lane looks incredible! But I am going to hold off on judgement until he has played in the playoffs. It is a different game come playoff time. Want to see if his 169 lbs frame can take it when refs put their whistles in their pockets.

  4. Celebrini's 5 pt night really helped his cause, but, Hutson's team is in the playoffs while the Sharks and Flyers are bottom-dwellers. Hutson is a dman (takes longer to establish as a dman), harder to play, harder to master, yet he's doing it. The Calder is Hutson's unless Celebrini gets 3-4 more huge games before the end of the season

  5. Hutson locked up the Calder with the snipe the other night. Basically just to say to Celebrini and Michkov, I could do your job better than you. 🤣🤣🤣

  6. I stopped watching and liking the habs when Bergevin took over.

I wasn't really interested in the habs until Laine was picked up.
I'm not saying Laine is great.

What i am saying is there was a shift that moment that everyone overlooked.
    Hutson is a great surprise!
But a lot of the credit goes to the managers. Same for the coaches.

And great job on getting Carrier.
Great job by the captain. Just writing this brings a tear to my eye.

I still remember that year we picked up Muller, Damphousse, and Bellows.

That is what this team reminds of.
Over 30 years of bs since that cup.
The same feelings and emotions, and passion are back.
I don't care if they win the cup or not this year.

I'm just grateful that after 3 decades, all Canadiens fans have a reason to be optimistic and hopeful.

Even better, a reason for the haters to be humbled.

Let's watch these boys play with the same amazement we had when we were kids.

    Amen…

  7. There are no contests, what are you talking about ? I am a Leafs fan and was ecstatic when Matthews joined the Leafs, there were no argument who was the best rookie. As it is today, and as much as I hate the Canadiens, Lane Hudson is the best rookie by far and is deserving that credit

  8. Celebrini will have a great career. Will be interesting to see his future body of play in the post season. The area of greatness is something that has eluded Matthews for reasons I cannot wrap my brain around. Matthews has been one of the league best regular season forwards but becomes just ordinary come post season in spite of getting the minutes and PP time. It almost does not make sense. Joe Thornton was similiar in his career in not being able to take it up a notch in the post season over his entire career. Hopefully Matthews can figure it out.

  9. Hutson is gonna win the Calder no doubt but Celebrini is crazy good for an 18 y.o.

  10. Hutson had the best season. He deserves the Calder.
That being said, does not mean hevis better or will have a better career than Cellebrini.
The being said, lets see Demidov next year
