Season Summary: JT miller trade was a mistake, I don’t care what anyone says. Possibly losing Boeser is terrible.
We can’t finish games with a lead.
Can’t win in overtime.
Low shooting games won’t cut it down the stretch.
Our defense is full of holes besides a few players, Hughes and Hronek.
Positives: Lankinen got 25 wins, great pickup
Demko came back and played alright, that was great to see.
Garland and Joshua work hard. There is potential in Markus Petterson. Debrusk was a good pickup as well.
That historic comeback against the stars, scoring 3 THREE GOALS in the last MINUTE of the game to force OT was insane.
Good effort, came up short in overtime, can't win' em all, go vancouver canucks.

Did good earlier in the game, but shutdown in the third period, blowing leads is not acceptable. So with that OT loss, the Wild clinched, and this damages the Flames' hopes of catching the wild card spot.
I'd be really furious if the Flames clinched, that makes the Canucks the only Canadian team to miss the playoffs, which feels mentally hurtful.
Kaprizov threaded the needle with that pass, Grade A stuff.

It’s always funny to not see all the cocky bandwagon Canucks fans that seem to have disappeared since the Miller trade. All the excuse makers like CanucksNate, his white knight Jordan, Tobias. Canucks, like the Flames 2 years ago, were one hit wonders in the season.

Didn’t show the official’s quick whistle taking away a sure goal by Faber. The puck was clearly not secured by Lankinen. Should have been 2-2 at that point.

Sure this game meant nothing, but if it did, Sherwood was caught napping in that OT loss. Something to fix for next season. Also shooting choices, he elected to shoot rather than pass to O’Conner who would have got a wide open net, but it is what it is. See you next game to next season.
