Tie…I mean Max, was a beast tonight. Ya love to see that, he seen a guy running around and he stepped up to put an end to it. Tight game, banged up D low score. Big saves in OT and Mitchy burying the chance when he gets it. Habs fighting for their season, this felt like a Playoff Game. Grats boys on the home ice in the first round!! well earned this season.

The hockey play rule is bullshit. It should be as long as the guy accepts the fight it's fine. It should only be when you jump a guy that it's an instigator.

WOW how is it the leafs power play is still getting better ? (not big in the lucky dept last night but clearly its going to come) love the simple approach of having Austin, JT and Matthew in front of the goal totally overwhelming the dee and centre feet apart (simple shot and rebound play over trying to thread the needle ) then with Willy the wizard and magic Mitch buzzing the perimeter on the pp is something to behold not only can they thread the needle when needed they can score from anywhere or surprise the dee by going to the net at random unexpected times not normally expected on the pp. love to see this line other then for pp
Berube has this team playing at a higher level.
Mitch likes defense because he is at the back of the ice with the players in front of him allowing him to see the whole ice. Makes his break out pass effective. Very rare a forward can play defense like this.
THEORETICALLY Mitch COULD be a better offensive D than lane hutson maybe even cale makar or quin hughes!
