I love that Raymond is trying to be optimistic about building off of something to go next season but missing the playoffs last year by 1 point should have been the thing that motivated them this year. If they gave it 100% in march like they are claiming they are doing right now "for the fans at the end of the season" they would be waiting for the playoffs to start. Right now their identity is blowing big games in crunch time unfortunately.
This off season is gonna be a big turnaround for them and it's the most excited I've been for an off season for them in forever. With possibly more younger talent on the team next season is going to be awesome to see and hoping Yzerman makes 1 or 2 very nice moves this summer. Hoping he can trade up in the draft and #1 bring back Kane, #2 sign Marner 🙏, #3 sign Gavrikov, #4 Send Holl/Gus to the moon, #5 Tarasenko starts producing like he should or he also goes to the moon.

I am hoping for big changes this offseason ,I think big changes on the defense needed and I dont like fact that are big players didnt perform when they needed the last 20 games except for Kane,Cat did well .Talbot ,Lyon leaked oil last half season except for last few games changes coming.
