Everyone with eyes knew the oilers goaltending was nowhere near good enough.

The Oilers have 'adequate' goaltending, not great goaltending. This means that if the team plays good defensive hockey, they have a chance of winning. These goalies will not win games for the team through exceptional play.

Skinner isn't terrible, I would say a moderate nhl goalie. Problem is, it's hard to win a cup with an average goalie. I believe that Edmonton desperately needs a new goalie and more defensive peices if they want to get a cup which both mcdavid and draisaitl deserves.

If anything, it shows that the goaltending is not the biggest issue, though it is somewhat of an issue. The way the Oilers have played, it doesn’t matter who’s in goal. They’ve been giftwrapping those goals for the Kings. And yes, the Kings are on fire.

Coach needs to be forced to watch this – I don't think he does video or holds players accountable. Brown turnover (he has to ctrl puck)… then Klingb completely loses puck battle.. (& LA battles vs EDM D would just not remove space or battle), then a very lazy skate into wall by Henrique (did not contain his guy at all – let him by), & Frederic very lazy & did not contain his guy at all) – Frederic bad on a lot of plays… not in posn… then Bouch backing himself right away from opponents & puck as usual… then media blame the Goalie….. That is a lot of very lazy effort… for Coach to take responsibility.
You need to bring that other goalie you tried out I think he’d do really good. But the worst thing ever is our defence there scared to play Nurse would be the first one to go scare of getting hit sane with Bouchard another one that’s scared to get hit unreal and few others
they need to be sent back to learn how to
