It's been 9 years with the Matthews Era of Leafs but the Leafs finally feel like a proper playoff team. The stars are showing up, the whole team is playing strong, physical hockey. They're not shying away from hits or nasty battles behind the net or in the corners. And the Leafs finally have a goalie, 6 solid defensemen and a coach who knows that piddly little limp wristed posession hockey is not what wins playoff hockey. It can get nasty and mean and if you let yourself get bullied, you're done for. Leafs aren't getting bullied anymore. It ain't over till it's over but right now it's looking up.
