  1. As a defenseman myself when i played, i did everything possibly to protect my goalie like any good dman, worst feeling ever when you hit and then hurt your own goalie.

  2. No chance they're actually booing him, are they? The dbag Laval fans did the same to Jake Massie.

If so, that's actually pathetic. Wouldn't be surprised though.

  3. That's certainly a new one as a Habs fan… The opposing team injuring their own goalie? Alright! I suppose it's better than what we've been getting. lol

  4. Gotta feel for Thompson. Getting demolished by your own player and having to listen to the roar of the crowd on the goal while laying there injured.

  5. In my 15 years of watching this great sport. I routinely see players at this level make turns on a dime .
The Washington player the hit his own goalie had more than enough time to bail out. To his right .
This player could probably cost the team the chance of getting by Montreal

  6. Well here goes the series if thompson aint back, enjoy it while it lasts cause the habs wont pass the canes tho.

  7. Why did Strome continuously apply pressure on the jugular even after the cross check to the neck, please explain 😑 😮

  8. The referee got confused and almost called a penalty on the play instead of a goal! a penalty against his own goalie ? 😅

  9. "Collison with his own teammate" should be part of the title. Just like it was his own teammate who slashed him in the head, NOT Suzuki, despite him getting the penalty 😅 Strome crosschecked him as well as crushing him. Capitals have gone crosscheck crazy all series, they were out to Injure, just turns out it was their own moat important player in the series.😮

  10. They tried to take out their own goaltender all night. First the high stick that was called against Suzuki. Then Strome buries his own tender.

I can't see Thompson coming back in this round

  11. All in the same play, Strome turned over the puck, did not defend the goal scorer then ran over and injured his own goalie…..u can't make this stuff up. Caps may not win another game. What a disaster

  12. With the cross checks the caps have been doing this was bound to happen and even to their own.

  13. Strome comes in with a great cross-check, a huge hit and absolutely flattens his target, what an awesome physical player to have on your team 💪

  14. Strome shoud get suspended for the remainder of the playoffs. A blatant attempt to injure the goalie. No Capitals players even try to defend or avenge their goalie after this ?!?! Are you kidding me ??? I hope Washington players hunt this Strome punk next game, you can’t cross-check a goalie in the face like that!

  15. People may say "everything can hapoen so fast on the Ice" I STILL dont understand how he managed to hit him right in the face with the stick full force like that.. poor Goalie

  16. I can’t remember the last time I seen a playoff game both starters getting hurt and leaving the game huh might be the first for me anyway 😅

  17. Must really suck to be Thompson.. entire Caps team are just a bunch of a sorry as* SOB's coupled with a bunch of butt hurt fans 🤮

  18. Let’s not forget the other Washington player who clobbered him over the head at the end of the first. And the Gallagher slapshot that almost took his head off. Talk about a rough night.
