    we weren';t a contending team, this is the problem. Shouldn't have been bringing in Lindholms, Zadorov's etc when our loong term squad had so many holes. Needed patience.

    Jim Rutherford is old and is not the right guy to build the Canucks organization into a Stanley Cup winner. If he was smart he would blow this shit show up. The rebuild never happened under Jim Benning he just filled in the holes with trades and free agents. Exactly what Canucks management wants to do. In the history of the Vancouver Canucks this never works. We need a smart GM and start from the bottom. I see no Cup coming from the players we have, sure we will competitive. But of course the Canucks organization will not do this and it will always be next year.
