I remember in the 2021 cup final Tampa Bay was up 3-0 against Montreal and got a four minute power play late in the third period which extended to OT with a chance to win the cup . They did not score and then Montreal scored shortly after the power play was over. Here Toronto had a four minute power play with a chance to complete the sweep. The difference is, they had lots of chances, where I do not remember Tampa having a good chance on that power play. Tampa did win the next game to win the cup and in all likelihood Toronto will win the next game. But in the very unlikely event that Ottawa comes back Toronto can point to tonight as why you want to eliminate a team when you get the chance.
