  1. There are 18 and 19 years olds who are much, much, much, much better than #40. Talk about f’n embarrassment.

  2. Why do the journalists all talk to the Canucks' management like they are walking on eggshells? Fire the hard questions. Stop massaging their shoulders.

  3. Tocchet is most likely finished in Vancouver, and will probably take over behind the bench in Seattle instead.

His former Penguins teammate, Ron Francis, will pay him whatever he wants, plus Tocchet's son also lives and works in Seattle.

This has probably already been in the works behind-the-scenes for several days.

  4. Vancouver always signs players that end up being worse than dud after. They better be mindful bcoz Boeser is going to be the next woeful signing if they think he’s better than mediocre. Forget the loyalty bull crap ‘oh he’s such a nice Canuck’…wtf! Sign more players like Sherwood and less of these pansy ass players.

  5. I called it 4 years ago. Petey aint got what it takes. Where are those fans who laughed at my opinion and constantly make excuses for this guy? When you gonna realise he’s not the player you thought he was going to be?

  6. I don't think EP40 should be back as a Canuck. I would trade him for whatever I can get. Even if you "lose" the trade. Just get what you can for him and cut the losses. And if he starts playing better on the next team well good because he wasn't going to do it here.

  7. It says everything about this team that you trade the guy that cares and it’s a warriors kept the guy that has lost his passion and drive. In the future people will talk about the miller trade the way they do about cam nealy

  8. Henderson complaining about management was such a cry baby clown show. Ryan, this is the first public appaerance since the trade happened ofcourse they are gojng to talk about it so stop having a tantrum like a child on live TV. Absolutely embarrassing. And Dwaliwal says Canucks will have to take a bad contract back if they trade Pettersson because Chytil had to come back in the Miller trade. WRONG. The Miller trade was done when teams were still feeling the effects of the flat cap. There will be plenty of teams that can take the cap hit full on July 1st

  9. I used to have nothing but respect for the legend Donnie Taylor, but these clips of him are annoying.

Total lack of insight, nothing fresh, just harping on the same whiny complaints over and over.

Cmon Donnie! Lead the Vancouver media into some more insightful times and conversations!

  10. Let me take over his off ice training. I'll make sure he shows up in better shape than everyone else at the start of the season

  11. All true about Petey – Rutherford tells us Quinn wants to play with his brothers – so yeah, we can try to get them to come to Vancouver LOL – what a schmozzle

  12. Petey went to the 4Nations and even with a different atmosphere, coach and all-star teammates he did sweet diddly squat. That was enough for me. He's cooked. Move on from this turd. Major gaff by management to hitch our future to him. He's physically / mentally weak and has the personality of a dead fish. Why would Vancouver fans ever want a guy like that?? Its a Canadian market. We want CHARACTER. He has none.

  13. EP-Pouty, 33% salary retention (F'ing STUPID contract; team DESERVES to keep some of it), Wilander and a 1st, for Jack Hughes (*if NJ are willing to even consider offers for him); would that be enough? If not, plus what ?? to Devils?

  14. I'm sorry I just don't buy the whole couldn't prepare properly for the season that's why he played like garbage rhetoric. That might be acceptable for a month, maybe 2 months into the season. But what the hell is the excuse after that? If you are a pro athlete shouldn't you be able to get your conditioning up in 60 days for goodness sake? What a joke.

  15. Canucks fan here… Not commenting on the petty/Miller issues, but the greater issues as a whole.
I would state that the Vancouver Canucks have the worst owners and management in the league. The past decade of disasters is proof.
The failures of the Canucks are 100% on the owners and upper management. Not the players, not the coaches
Ever since Trevor Linden left the organization (when the owners refused to begin a rebuild)
The Canucks as a franchise has fallen apart.

  16. Is Thomas Gradin still a scout for the Canucklehead, if so he has to go. He's always bringing these high talent but no grit swedish meatballs. Playoff hockey requires gritty play to go deep. Petey could never do what Ovechkin did last night.

  17. Has he been checked for an early onset of a mental condition? EP doesn't look like he's all there, and he can barely respond to a question. At minimum he needs to load up on smelling salts with Demko.
