wow … that is HUGE loss for the Canucks, and now opens up a whole new can of concerns: nothing less than that of Quinn Hughes' future … how does the team move forward now ?? I'm sure being stuck with EP40 was part of the issue for Tocchet

If the Aquilinis are too f-ing cheap to invest in one, then the fans should demand they sell the franchise to an owner who will let his management team do their jobs, stay the f out of hockey operations and build a practise facility!!!!!!!!

Tocchet seems to have a shelf life, but really it’s falling apart in Vancouver? There was definitely an issue in the dressing room but now management, funny but Pette might be the last one standing?

what a huge loss. I would guess that wherever Tochet goes he will bring his assistants with him. Lots of openings around the league I don't think the grade A coaches will come to Vancouver. Oh well Dan Bylsma is available. Its gonna be a tough next few years.

Ok, the one thing has been a constant through all the drama and bullsh*t over the last 15 years…..the owner. Once again, unnecessary drama. I am so f'ing over it. Most Canuck fans just want some stability. Christ, enough is enough. Sadly I don't think it's close to over.
now i'm really curious about elias pettersson's game improving because i don't think it was just miller that was the issue with his production fall off. rick's 1st year elias was 100+ pts, then 89 the following season, then 45 or whatever it was. steady decline. i hope they bring in someone who knows what to do with a top 10 in the league calibre player. i'm not sorry to see tocchet go. good coach, just maybe a better fit somewhere else.
Owner is piss at the management for signing players to big money contract and not producing especially not making the playoff who knows Jim and Patrik might be gone too lol

I like Tocchet, but he's not the right coach for the Canucks. You can't win hockey games generating 15 shots a game. I don't care how well structured your defensive system is. Hoping we can land Sullivan

i like Tocchet as a coach and a Flyers fan but with the Flyers rebuild how will he fit if he is the next coach or not
If someone in April 2024 had told me that the Canucks would be in this much turmoil exactly one year later i would have thought they were crazy. I don't think anyone could have predicted this. What this team needs is new ownership who care more about actually trying to build a winning franchise in Vancouver instead of increasing their profit margins.
