What do YOU think is the biggest problem with the Nashville Predators right now?
The question is: are the players bad, or is the system just bad?
When was the last time an NHL team that did so well in the offseason ended up being one of the worst in the league?
Last place at the quarter pole. Not looking good. Last night is either the coffin-nailer for the season or a bottoming out that completely changes each individuals’ approach to every moment they enter the room.

Emma is spot on with talking about their current "scratch" sending the wrong message. The young guys are the only ones looking good right now aside from Juice and that is because they have something to play for right now (their futures). The three you named that played well: ZLH is a rookie and is trying to earn his spot long term, Parsnips is playing for his next contract, Del Gaizo is playing to keep his spot if/when Stastney comes back. Maybe it is time to make an example out of one of the veterans so that they have something to play for too…

I had seen, going into the 2024-25 regular season, the Preds as strong candidates to finish in the Central Division’s top-five. Although according to NHL standings, taking into account games that ended by Thursday morning Central Time, the Preds are just 2 points out of 5th in that division, theyare already six points out of a playoff spot. Once they get to 10 points out, should that happen, they are unlikely to see playoff action in the spring, and they’re getting pretty close.
