Weird. This series has gone pretty-much as I expected. Little anxiety here. Oilers were going to start off much like how they ended the season. A little weak. A little out of it. But a bunch of impact players were coming back on-line. This series was always about if the Oilers could "get it together" in time to have an impact. It looks like they're getting there. If Ekholm comes back in the 2nd or 3rd series, they'll be killers.
Stop this "being outplayed" nonsense. The Kings are throwing their whole energy into the game in the first 2 periods and are fatigued in the third. Yeah no shit when you put all your chips into the game while the other team evens theirs out it looks like being outplayed. But in reality, the Oilers are just playing it smart by playing the long game.
Trust me Kings fans feel much worse , I’m a Kings fan I know ! This series so far is closer then the last 3 , HOWEVER ITS THE SAME STORY ! OILERS IN THE END ARE THE HUNGRIER TEAM WITH BETTER FITNESS ! And who better or has more skill doesn’t matter in a 7 game series , it’s who has more in the tank ! History has shown it means more to the oiler players then the Kings
This series could be 4-0 and over, this series could be 3-1 kings and virtually over and this series could be 3-1 Oilers. Perhaps 2-2 is strangely the right result so far. Who knows? What I do know is it’s taking years of the lives of both fanbases! Rollercoaster ride on!

Understand that Edmonton is getting better every minute, and they are connecting better pk was better and the pp is improved! Remember, this team is going to be better and Evander Kane is part of that!
We did NOT feel good after game 1. Guarded in my optimism after game 2. The test for me was one freaking win in Edm, and I watched LA hand over both games to Edm. LA is hands down the stupidest team.
Hiller doesn’t need to do anything different. Kings dominated the first two games and the last game. Byfield lost it for them. The ice time distribution is not an issue in regulation. It’s an issue in OT and it really shouldn’t have gone to OT. He chips it out 2 on 1 game over. Kings missed an empty net from center ice in game one with 2 min to go. The players themselves just don’t know how to play aggressive enough with a sizable lead.
I had to stop at the intro bit- did the guy behind the camera know the Matt Damon-lookin' one was going to come with that little gem, like, out of pocket? Or did he (sorry, you're probably reading this now) just smile when you saw it, knowing, instantly, what you were going to lead with?

The Hiller challenge is actually fascinating. Clearly an intelligent man, he was so panicked by the Oilers comeback that he basically temporarily lost the ability to assess reality. That none of his assistants was able to stop him is an indictment of the whole staff.
My thing with the oilers is we have played the worst 4 games I’ve seen in a long time and we are somehow 2-2. You’d have to think we are gonna have a great all around game soon

every year same thing .My team is in the metro. why does the league support Edmonton through the actions of the refs and players safety. been watching from circa 1975. listen to podcast in Montreal Toronto Winnipeg Calgary Vancouver.no question league is rigged. but I love the game. In the states we jump all over the sports league's and its officiating if they got it wrong. this does not happen in Canada. You also have golden boys like Sid or Conner if they run into you, you get a penalty no wonder you call them the greatest players while Evander Kane can go Knee on Knee and nothing to see here folks. I refuse to believe Canadians are that stupid or the Hockey police will come and get them. rather the normal Canadian culture is one that can't process things like truth, Character, or self-respect.
I feel like Oilers vs Kings is a series where they’re perfect opponents to force each other to trade asshole behaviour. Bc with how both teams are built and what their respective strengths are there’s no way for both teams to be playing their A game at the same time. LAs A game means theyre locking things down and stifling the opponent, but EDMs A game means they’re pressuring and pouring it on offensively…so naturally the swings go so crazy both ways. But MAN what a series what a rollercoaster!!!! Tbh I think LA lost the series after Hiller crashed out in that postgame so let’s go oil in 6! But let’s hope for a strong showing from both sides the rest of the way

In the off season kings plan is too build their team to pass the first round against the oilers but fail every year. May be it’s time to change the management 😊
Unfortunately there are not many hockey fans out there. There are many fans of all 32 NHL teams, but not of the game itself. When I watch a Toronto-Montreal game with 2 friends (one for Habs, one for Leafs) then we are seeing 3 different games.
The refs were pretty mellow until the end of the game with Penalties. Thanks Ref’s now we can do Penalty Kills again!
