Sur le but gagnant, c’était Lowry pour avoir fait un coup de point de Pionk à 16:10 de double prolongation en envoyant les Jets au deuxième tour pour la première fois depuis 2021. I was at the final WHA game when the Jets won the AVCO Cup in game 6 after being humiliated 10-2 in game 5 by Gretzky and the Oilers. I kinda felt that same feeling after the 2OT goal that I had as a 9 year old back on May 20, 1979.

As a Blues fan feeling sorry for myself, taking the best team in the league to 7 games and double overtime after having an 8% chance to make the playoffs is a hell of a feat. Hellebuyck is still a trash can though, sorry about it!

I was at the first (pre-season) game when the Jets first came back, but it didn't feel like pre-season – Buff was hitting people! I was also at the Dave Ellett OT goal game, and the Bobby Hull jersey retirement game back in 89, and even through the TV, the tying goal and the OT goals in this game 7 were louder than those three events – and those three were crazy loud.
