  1. It always seems to take an outside analyst of Vancouver to point out that the glass is actually half full and not half empty.

  2. Free Agent player; Yea I could skiing during the season in Vancouver.

Contract; The hell you are. 😮😂😅😊

  3. It is wonderful to listen to John Shannon's sensible reasoning. Donnie and you to Rick are so negative about our Canucks.future. I have been following this franchise since 1970 through the good times and bad. I love this team. Lets pull together and support this team.

  4. Watch the Devils fire Keef, and Tocchet take the job. In three years he can recruit Quinn.

  5. Watch the Devils fire Keef, and Tocchet take the job. In three years he can recruit Quinn.

  6. I despise the "closer to family" excuse. I think it's become an automatic lame saying. Its highly unprofessional and obviously NOT true.

  7. Johnny Boy, sure is willing to sacrifice the truth so as not to offend anyone. The Canucks job is for the guy who is desperate for work. That team is a toxic septic tank that smells up the whole city. A typical journalist.

  8. Kudos to Rutherford for his straight up conveyance of information. No beating around the bush no filling in the blanks. Tells it like it is!

  9. Its not EP40s fault Tocchet chose to leave. It is however Tocchets fault we have traded away most of our top 6 scoring players to sign players that fit his system. He was also a large part of the reason Miller wanted to leave. Tocchet chose to bench Miller multiple times leading to his leave of absence, while he alone allowed EP40 to continue to get ice time. It was clear he favored EP40 over Miller. A blind man could see that.

  10. The Swedish experiment has not worked , time to fire Rutherford and Alvin and rebuild with bigger and tougher North American players whom have grown up dreaming of winning a Stanley Cup and have always played our game with our rules . Does Aquilini not care or have pride in his team or is it just an investment . The fans care but are losing hope .

  11. Practice facilities are kind of important to coaches, since it's a place where practices and player development happen.

  12. Tocchet leaving has nothing to do with the Canucks hockey team. Nothing. He wants to move back east. Simple as that.

  13. Baseless speculation Donny. You don't know Rick's reasons. Typical negative Vancouver sports media, give your head a shake.

  14. Aquilini sucks. Pettersson sucks. The Canucks suck with no future. Tocchet knows it and so does the rest of the league.

  15. No big deal. His wife wants to stay in US. Coaches are easy to replace. Sa long as they sign Tom Willander and try to sign Boeser.
Team has good youth development. GM must trade Hughes this summer to get good return. Mercer, Nemec and Cotter could be new Canucks players. Both clubs would be happy Hughes Sasson to NJ.

  16. Two world-class coaches down and our ONLY FRANCHISE PLAYER TALKING ABOUT LEAVING to play with his brothers in HIS COUNTRY? Sell while the price is high. Vancouver fans – we're gonna suffer another 50 years at this rate. Thanks anyway Tocchet? We never made you feel important enough to bring your family here – that speaks volumes. Sorry your patience ran out. Love you? Do you. ♥️♥️♥️

  17. What an embarrassment that Vancouver is literally is the only franchise with no practice facility, the other city is getting ready to build theirs soon.

  18. As a fan on this team since the early 90s I can say I’m done until they show me something again. I fell off just before Covid until last season when I started watching again with optimism for it to be crushed again I’m not supporting this crap

  19. this guy is the biggest dummy out there. he makes craig button look smart. of course the lack of a practice facility would matter to a coach. it's like this nerd has never played a sport in his pathetic life and he probably hasnt

  20. Donnie and Dhali couple of Debbie Downers here. Thanks for some positivity John!

  21. What a stupid F’n question… you think like a 12 year old. “Will anyone want to coach here anymore?”

And your EP hatred is getting old…. You ever think it’s mostly millers fault? He seems like more of the antagonist type than EP. If miller just shut his mouth and focused on his own game, none of this would’ve happened.

EP could’ve focused on his own game and miller the same…instead, miller focused on EP and EP was too distracted to focus on himself.

There is one antagonist that disrupted the chemistry of the whole team.

  22. The Canucks fans that have 'bucked up', and supported them… Here's an idea: STOP BUYING TICKETS (supporting them, to give you THIS!), until the current ownership sells the team; it ALL stems from the top. Hahaha … What a farce this team has become, OVERNIGHT! You go, EP-POUTY! You're OUR SAVIOUR !!!

  23. Taxes not politics. And yes lots of people who make large salaries in Canada and have the option to leave to America , leave all the time.

  24. Greetings D&D & John Shannon. With the departure of Rick Tocchet in mind I actually believe Rick wasn't impressed with players during the past season. Coaches in general haven't been coaching here in Vancouver for long because the Orcas 😢(Canucks Players) quit playing with the needed hunger for points to win games. Though in their defense do start pretty well before things fall apart. Who do you think (of available Coaches right now) would be the best fit for the current roster after Free Agency?
