I think Staois is more likely to make a change at Defence and see scoring improve from within. Zub or Jensen might be moved for a bigger/faster option

I don't think we need to make a big splash on the RHD unless Jensen is going to be out long term. If Jensen is healthy, they just need a serviceable vet who is better than Hamonic and can be a 6th or 7th D, maybe push Mantipalo a bit, for a season or 2 until Yak is ready for the NHL.
Thoughts on Bennett? Maybe he isn’t a great finisher but he would be a great add
Need an Anderson or a Tom Wilson on that 4th line, and a big rugged dman on the 3rd right side, Mantepalo can be a great 7th. Ehlers or Donato would be a great fit on the first or second line
You think he will get more than $8m AAV?
With the rise of Klevin, does he get move up to the second unit? Does Chabot to go down the lineup again to the 3rd D pairing? Eventually Chabot will need to either accept the fact the future is with Sanderson and Klevin and go on the 3rd pairing or ask for a trade.
Forsy is porbably going to go if the offer is better. But if you can sign him to a discount then go for it. Levi can use 1 more year in Belleville, then come in as the backup the year after and challenge for the no. 1 spot.
Jenson doesn't sound very positive in regards to his future in hockey and won't reveal what the injury even is. If Jenson can show up to training camp truly at 100% then he goes back with Chabby. I doubt that happens so I think the Sens NEED a top 4 RD.
If Cozins does not resign I think Tanner Jennot would be a good bottom six 2.5 mil player for us
I have no issues with Forsy coming back. He works his ass off and coaching staff has noticed and commented on it. He definately needs to take pay cut. Having said that if the Sens go get someone else to be the backup, I'd be fine with that too. I'm more focused on Ullmark not getting hurt
I totally agree with your guys off season checklist. The scoring winger and the RHD would definitely be the most important. It all comes down to how Jensen will be come next season if he will be full recovered from his injury or still battling it. So getting another RHD for safe measures is a really great idea. That way if his injury gets worse and he can't play we can have Matinpalo as the 7th D that can fill in for him or if we get another RHD on the team he could be a fill in as well. As for the scoring winger would also be nice to have if things don't work out with Zetterlund on that top line with Timmy & Tkachuk. Lastly re-signing Giroux would be amazing but for next season I could see him in the bottom 6.
Seriously why did we trade Jake Chychryn for an old Jensen? Jake had a career year and we gave up a 1st round pick for him for an end of career D man
