Le plus long changement dans l’histoire de la LNH! #nhl #nhlhistory #hockey #NewJerseyDevils

Le 9 décembre 2022, Jack Hughes des Devils du New Jersey a joué le plus long quart de l’histoire de la LNH contre les Islanders de New York. Dans ce court métrage, je discute de ce moment incroyable!

  1. Kovalev's shift – which was a punishment by Keenan – was shorter. Unreal stamina by Hughes.

  2. I played 47 out of 51 minutes in a game and only had 2 2 minute rests at 48 years old while my much younger teammates got plenty of rest. Not complaining at all.

  3. The previous record I believe belong to Alex Kovalev. Head coach of the New York Rangers, Mike Keenan at the time wanted to teach him a lesson. It wasn’t uncommon for him to stay out a little past his shift. The one game he kept him out there for nearly 5 minutes till he scored.

  5. The greatest thing that an NHL team can have is a relocated team. That way not only can they have retro Jerseys. They have Jerseys that 'pay hommage' to the former team.
How much is a Jersey these days, 2 to 400.00 bucks ? Yeahhhhhh.

  6. Uhhh not even close ! Look up the Alex kovalev shift when Mike keenan was coaching ! Legit 14 minutes 🤣

  7. But…they didn't score. So who's to say they couldn't have done better with a fresh skater on the ice.

  8. I played 6 minutes in u-18… because I played defense. Defenseman always plays long shifts because we grind the boards.

  9. one time I was on the ice for an entire period cause we had only 5 people on attack and since i was the sub for another player they didn't care at all so i played like 15 minutes straight. not nhl level but that shi was hell
