Bad take by Peter. So because someone played a role in covering up/looking the other way in a sex abuse scandal but is good at their job, they should get another chance? If this wasn't in the hockey/entertainment field would Peter say the same thing

The Ducks apparently feel his ability and fit for their team far outweighs any potential backlash. Time will tell, obviously. I tend to think people upset by this hire are actually upset with the league, which could have banned him longer/permanently but did not. Once he was reinstated, it was only a matter of time before a team in the league saw Q as their best option. I share others' frustration that these guys can just magically rejoin the best league in the world… does KB have that option?

What if this a great way to fix the Avs? Ducks don't hire David Carle, leaving him to be available for Colorado? Kevin Hayes finger prints are all over this. A+ boys.
As a Blackhawks fan, I'm mostly just glad that this puts an end to all of the "Bring back Q" talk in the Hawks' fan base. Don't want him back. It's not just because I lost all respect I had for him over his behavior regarding the Beach scandal, either. Quenneville never had much patience for young players, and that, alone, would make him a terrible choice to coach the current Blackhawks. I'm not sure it's going to be any better for the Ducks, and their bunch of youngsters. Godspeed, Leo, Pavel, Olen, Mason, Cutter… And, Trevor. Lots of luck, guys.

Ducks haven’t had a legitimate head coach in about 6 years it seems to be a good hire despite the baggage he comes with. I’m ok with giving him a second chance. Ducks could have hired Todd McLennan? Good coach too.
