I think the Habs trading 2 first round draft choices and Xhekaj for Dylan Larkin is the best rumour I've heard. Probably an overpay but it would help both teams – I can't see Yzerman keeping a discontented player.

As a Habs fan..I'd love to be able to watch Bergiven from a outside view, would be very interesting him to see him in a non-french market being such a aggressively French man.
Adams has done an ok job.. but the reality is.. he's on the block because the players failed to get the job done.. and you can't fire all of them so it's easier to fire 1 GM/Coach than 15-20 players who failed. Yeah, we wanted a few more moves last year.. but the type of player both the fans and the GM wanted.. never moved for any team last year.

I believe both Newhook and Darch would make an interesting discussion as both are serious defensive liabilities and offensively lack the finishing. Maybe both should be replaced with players that defensively are not a liability.
