Holmberg had his best game as a Leaf last nite. I have never seen him play with as much passion as last nite. If the Leafs want to move on all the players need to play like that!!! There is no four core…..it is the whole team as Craig Berube points out!!!

Berube has the team playing with purpose. I have never seen so much unity. Everyone knows their roles, where to be and stays calm under pressure. They still have their cracks but it’s very much a cohesive group right now. Credit to the coaching staff.

The leafs made some great acquisitions this year but the biggest difference is the coach. Berube has reached rhe pinnacle and he knows exactly what it takes and he also demands a business like approach. At the end of the day, its a business and players get paid a lot of money to do their job. Good on him for keeping it business like. Grind, grind, grind.
