Skinner seriously sucks he should have never been out of his net like that!! Leon had to act fast because he seen the net was open it was just a bad bounce that is the only way they can win seriously! Go back to the Minnesota Wild series almost every goal was a bad bounce! I'm not blaming Skinner, but if Pickard doesn't come back soon, VERY SOON, at 100%, the series is over. If they hadn't benched Skinner vs L.A. we wouldn't even be talking about this right now. I don't think Skinner is horrible, but maybe he should look at options in Europe or something. Play there for 10 years, save his money, and come back and try to be a goalie coach or something.

Picks would have stopped at least one of those 2 goals. Game would have been completely different. Skinner makes a couple of nice saves here and there but he’s not good enough to win a cup.
The Oilers are vastly delusional if they think they will win anything with Stu Skinner this year or next year. Stu has officially hit Jack Campbell, rock bottom, total mental collapse territory. Stu doesn't want to go anywhere near an NHL rink, he's completely checked out. I now call him Hotel California Skinner. Leon carried this team into the playoffs. He was just trying to cover for a horrific decision Skinner made. I think this all comes down to this black cloud hanging over Skinner's head. At this point you just can't let Skinner anywhere near a net. I wouldn't be surprised if Skinner took a year off after this season to re-evaluate.
Im not gonna blame skinner because he was cutting the angle and came out to challenge which did make it harder to score. Im also not gonna blame Leon because at least he was on the ice making an effort. The real issue is the missing defense during that play.

What happened to the 50 goal guy that was bar none the best player in the world this season?
