That bobble head, crack addict of a commissioner wants nothing more than to see the Leafs organization fail, and the league will do absolutely anything to make sure the Leafs, regardless of what the team looks like, work three times harder than any other. What a bullshit league.

Management needs to quit giving out No Trade or No Movement clauses with these big contracts like its Halloween candy….Rantanen over Marner all day,everyday of the week…quit strapping the team with players who have no balls or afraid to play in tough spots…simple as that….if they won't sign without a No trade clause then call their bluff and find the right fit that will get the Leafs over the top for once.

no matter what he wont call out his 2 top ( and highest paid players ) Mathews and Marner , His Boss Shannahan probably told him not too publicly call out those players since they are Home grown " SHannaplan " players .It doesnt matter though .If the Leafs don't win this series Shannahan is a goner ( or he should be anyway ) 10 years of the so called "SHannaplan " and only 2 series wins ? As a leaf fan, I don't like Berube saying we did ok last night. The leafs were making bad decisions and sloppy passes, this wasn't the team from the other games.
its OK that Mathews isnt scoring because " he is doing all the little things right out there " and " its not all about scoring goals " WTF is he talking about??? .Its ALL about scoring goals for him .Thats his bread and butter .When you are making 13 sheets a year you better put the damm puck in the net bottom line .Doesnt matter if you are being tightly checked ,when you are being paid like he is -You have to find a way to break through the checking .You can get a $4M-$5M player to " do the little things right " and be a good defensive player

Berube using Auston (best goal scorer in the NHL) Matthews primarily as a shutdown center is a joke. Unless it comes out he’s been playing with sprained wrists Berube needs to be held accountable.
