That draft lottery was a complete joke.
McQUEEN ,,MARTONE,,, MARTIN
I would for sure want Hagans or Deloyer (spell) haha. So I'd talk to other gms above u. Just ask them to level with u. Who their interests are. If u can trade up to ensure u get the guy u need, do it.
They got porked at the lottery. Is what it is.
The one thing I would like to see Sweeney do is stop it with the love affair he has for American players, especially defenseman. Aside from McAvoy they are puppy poo soft for the most part.
I'll take a beer basher with no teeth over any of the Americans they have. John Beecher is a bust, I was hoping Oliver Wahlstrom was going to flourish here but for a kid with a wicked shot he has ZERO hockey sense. Lysell is a waste of ice time, he's a poor mans Kessel. Hates to play the Bruins system. Both of them will be in Sweden within two years.
Yes the Bruins need a center, they also need a coach from outside that has zero ties at all to Boston.
Hopefully Sweeney can move up in the draft, what it takes, who knows?
Unfortunately the pick is a BIG if. The Bruins scouting department of the last 10 years has been as bad as the Bruins scouts of the nineties so until they hit a homerun there is little to no trust in this management group to pick the right players.
Sweeney is an excellent in season GM and has a sack at the deadline, he just flat out sucks at drafting and free agent signings.
The draft lottery was amazing this year. I'm so happyBoston dropped 2 spots. God bless from Montreal.
At 7 I feel the question is O’Brien who might fit what the need or Martin who is the player they might want.
Problem with this entire video is that the rankings aren't accurate. They are just one places opinion. Css has O'Brien 4th ahead of Martone, desnoyers, etc. so moving any assets to move up is a waste. When you make these sweeping judgements based solely on what tankathon says it's completely flawed.
I just hope they are fully prepared if a trade doesn’t develop or someone falls. Be locked in to an order and don’t just fall in love with who you think might be there or whom you might get in a trade.
Minnesota Bruins fan wow
Barring the Bruins moving up, if I'm the Bruins at #7, I'd draft best overall player, regardless of position. A center to develop into hoping a number 1 guy would be nice, but at #7, I'm not so sure one will be left. I've heard Brady Martin turned a lot of heads at U18, so maybe he's an option. But if the consensus high rated centers are gone, I'm going for best available.
we still project to take Martone which I think is fine
I will never watch that joke that’s called the draft lottery again. The bruins are going to screw this up if if ever there was Zach Hamill scenario this just might be it.
Eklund , Martin , McQueen
I’m hoping for O’Brein but wouldn’t be mad at McQueen. Would get to see McQueen in Brandon
I could also see them trading down. pick up more draft capital.
WTF are you even talking about at the 3:20–3:31 mark?
NHLe is NHL points equivalent based on league adjustment, not the an NHL percentage likelihood… The stat is taking a historic transition from CHL & NCAA leagues of scoring numbers and translating it to what they'd produce at the NHL level in a similar deployment under ideal circumstances (ie top line minutes, PP1 deployment etc). The Swedish system doesn't translate well, which is why Frondell doesn't have a number listed in the NHLe column.
If you're going to use a graphic, do yourself a favour – google the definition of terms you don't understand… You come off as lost about the pre-draft scouting analytics when you make up a wrong interpretation of a number like you did here. Talk about your interpretation of a player's style, comparables, the intent of management based on pressers – cool, no issues here as its clear to your viewers… But don't make stuff up. It really gets in the way of me giving you a subscription when I have a better idea of what the images you're using imply that you do…
Edit: fixed a typo.
Clear as mud
Shout out to a fellow Newfie, great content, keep it up.
If they could possibly pull off a trade to move up to get the best possible center available, I think they should go for it. This team hasn't done a good job of trying to get center depth to replace Bergeron and Krejci.
It's ok. Don't panic…
Brady, Brady, Brady. Those are the choices.
I can see it happening already. Sweeney at the mike “with the seventh pick the Bruins select Tataki Tacoma from the Japanese rollerskating league”.
Hagens is too small
If we move up, go for Frondell or Desnoyers, if they stay where there at, gotta get Jake obrien or Brady Martin.
if i were GM of the Bruins i'd take Justin Carbonneau-the best scorer at 7 and could even trade down a pick or two and still get him.then package two 2nd rounders to go back up in the first and take jake o'neill.
I want Jake O'Brien, but think the Bruins will pick Viktor Eklund.
Desnoyers is going top three… he is ripping up the Q in the playoffs. three weeks ago – I thought he was the logical choice.. but he will be off the board at pick 7. I also wish Sweeney would stop picking Boston College players. Change it up a bit.
