As an Oilers fan, I agree with so many other comments in here that you guys are fine to listen to, always interesting to get viewpoints from the other side to see how the opposition saw the same game and compare to how we felt it went.
It was nice to see Pietro take some good shots in game 4 that obviously didn't feel too good for him. Still hold a grudge on him for that ridiculous slash on Draisaitl in game 4 in 2023 that the league only gave him one game for.
Revenge tour continues after Wednesday for the Oilers. Hopefully we gain some VGK fans on the ol wagon. Cause we going all the way.
Oilers are hungry. Knights are not. that simple. Hill is still shaky i dont understand why cassidy keeps running him out there. the Oilers came out swinging, literally, and surprised the Knights who never recovered. if the Knights dont do the same at t-mobile get out the fishing poles
People who say no depth to the Oilers are silly. Guys like Broberg and Holloway were actually not ready for prime time in longer stretches last year. As much as I like them they were replaced by depth players with experience.

Game 4 is on Cassidy. The coach even admitted it in his postgamer. Other than that they just seemed to use up all their energy fighting credit to the Oilers. They played a good solid game. But the knights dropped the ball (puck) Jack eichel shoot the puck!
Knights are a well rounded team. They are also a dirty team and poor sports. That slash on Leon and the cross check to the face the other night are prime examples. They should dust off golf clubs

The Oilers are throwing 4 lines, heavy hockey. Hill completely lost his composure. How he didn’t get a penalty or two is bizarre. Nobody in today’s NHL has answer for a healthy Kane. He’s still just knocking the rust off. Vegas is wilting just like the Kings. Oilers are built to wear teams out.

I will preface that I am an Oilers fan who enjoys listening to Tony & Chris' take on the games. I have listened to them a lot over the last few years, and love that they are not "blind Homers". They see the game at a high level, break it down honestly and call it fair, they give credit to good plays even whether it's VKG or the opposition. I appreciate the slight lean to VKG and what they need to do to be better, and that is why I listen.

Edmonton is such a weird team. The last month of the regular season, they didn't even look like a playoff caliber team. As soon as the playoffs started, they looked 1000% different.
The physical play Chris wanted in the series is working against Vegas because Edmonton is toying with them. Vegas will throw Hill away same way they did to Fleury.

Oilers fan here. Oilers depth is playing better than they have in years. So many games won by contributions by the 3rd and 4th line.
We all realize this is not a cup contending team. They're what we thought they were at the beginning of the season. They pretty much resigned the whole team to long contracts. Get ready for the year by year decline. Borderline playoff team next year. As for Edmonton, fans don't get too excited. You're beating the 7th best team in the playoffs. Dallas is a big step up. VGK has few draft picks, and no one in Henderson and Doro is the only player with an upside and little cap space. It's an ugly future for this team. Tony, it's easy are outcoached when the other team has far greater talent and debth and desire. They look tired because they are old and slow.
Honestly I could tell Vegas couldn't win this game before the puck dropped. The sheer energy level in Edmonton could be felt, even the announcers were a little overly energized. There has never been a team that could beat Edmonton last night.

Coaches want players to shoot the puck if and only if the puck will stay in the zone. With the shot velocity in today’s game a shot from an angle that misses the net ends up at the redline on the other side of the rink opposite where the shot was taken. So you just can’t be blacking from everywhere.

Kane having his way with Vegas physically, Skinner looked dialed in. Bruce Cassidy cannot hand off defensive duties to Eichel against McDavid/Draisaitl and expect him to produce offensively. Hate to say it but it's Oilers supposed lack of depth that's beating Knights

Oiler fan here – tuned in to see what the other side are saying, because even though 3-1 up I'm still worried as VGK are a good team. Its not over until its over. Picking up on Eichel – is he fatigued from the 4 Nations? Definitely so I think because we have seen that also with the Oilers. Those players didn't get a break and that has worn on them – Ekholm out, didn't get a break, McDavid hasn't played well since and has suffered injury. Someone pulled out of it, who was it – was it Pietrangelo? Don't like the guy (slash on Dri) but he made a very wise decision.
