Crazy bounces are one thing but goalie positioning is another! The buds got 3 goals to 1 in the second period. That should have been enough back in the day to win. We cannot sustain 3-5 goals a game! So quit making excuses for Woll guys.. with him in net we are screwed. Dudes got room for days above the shoulders and he loses track of the puck too quickly. Stolarz outclasses him in every way and we need him back!
Who cares who scores the goals, having scored 3 goals should have been enough period.

I know of no one who predicted a Leaf sweep, but there were more than few suggesting a Florida sweep. This was a must win game for Florida & it could've easily ended up 3-0 for Toronto. Let's see what game 4 brings before some Leaf fans lose their damaged minds.
Leafs had their chance and blew it. Fact is the smaller Woll is not as big as Stolarz so those high deflections sneak in above his shoulders in the crease. With Stolarz those shots are blocked.

As a Leaf fan, GM # 3 was an emotional roller-coaster! Toronto was so close to winning, yet so far? Woll must be better, a lot better, and needs to improve on his puck handling skills behind the net. Shaky? Florida had more urgency and more bounces their way, thus they won the game. The Leafs need to reset, show hunger in GM # 4 with a MUST win! GO LEAFS GO !!!!
When they asked him what do you think was the difference what changed in their favor and Riley said they just pushed back no it was when Riley put the puck in his own net then later a puck bounced off of Riley and in the net again for a second goal
Panthers are hurt and their style of play smells like desperation . Leafs look focused on the main prize.
Woll please stay in the net. You are not Billy Smith, Stolarz is. Focus on the net as you are getting caught way too much behind the net. Yes you are young and a good goalie but don't chance it unless you master playing the puck in your off season.
