Unsportsmanlike contact is added to the unacceptable non-calls for hits from behind, headshots, egregious interference and vicious crosschecks. Poor officiating standards in the NHL.

  2. The fact that Matthews is getting so many shot attempts and shots on net but not scoring means that every time he’s taking a shot he’s telling himself it’s not going in. It might not being formulating into a complete verbal thought, but maybe it is! There’s a doubt manifesting.

It’s the strangest thing, but the most underrated factor in all sports is psychology.

  3. Leafs take 4 penalties in the 1st period, i mean, wtf, why shoot yourself in the foot, playoffs anf your putting in a Bad situation, now the momentum has swung in the panthers direction. Foolish hockey.

  4. This “Anti Russian” bullshit has got to stop. Players have NOTHING to do with their country’s policies. Respect the player for who they are & how they play, not where they happen to hail from.

  5. As a fan I loved 1990s NHL play and loved me some Panthers last few yrs Knights too. A lot players today would be AHL careers
BTW Mikko is in Texas No income tax.

  6. weird how all the DFO shows today seem to show that one angle of the Petrovic goal, which doesn't really show a kicking motion, over and over again on a loop, but curiously don't do the same for the reverse angle which shows a very clear, undeniable kicking motion.

Apart from that decision, the officiating in that game was a circus. They called a super weak one on Morrissey which gave Dallas a 5-on-3 which gifted them the opening goal. Then to make up for that, the refs looked the other way on a couple egregious non-calls against the Jets, including the one that led Marchment to hack the ref…and from then on the refs looked the other way on a bunch of egregious Dallas infractions, including an after-the-whistle hit on Kyle Connor seconds before the long review.

There were bad decisions that went against each team, but the ones that went against the Jets led to goals against and swung momentum in Dallas' favour.

  7. I said this on DFO Live and MCH, but as much as Edmonton's D looks like swiss cheese here, Skinner screwed the pooch huge. Stay in the crease.

  8. Vegas is old and slow and Eichel is soft. All other 1C actually hit people. Frauds. Minnesota should have beat them. Vegas should rebuild. Stone is done. They should buy him out. No efing way he should be on team Canada.

  9. Proof that media tries to influence how the NHL operates. No comment on a very consequential Domi hit on barkov. Clear run from behind, 4 feet from the boards, head makes contact. Intent to injure. 0 comment, unbelievable

  10. Replacing Hellebuyck with Connor is a zero-loose situation. There must be a line in Hellebuycks contract, which says he should play if he is healthy. Otherwise it doesn't make sense. Why you hit your head in the wall time after time, if this is not the case? 3 times in STL series and it still continues. His own goal is like icing on the cake.
