I guess we will find out this summer if he is resigned and returns next season. He is a UFA after this season. I would have loved to see Jeff Skinner more in the regular season and during the first and second rounds of the Playoffs. At 3 million year, why not play him more!?
i really love jeff skinner. he produces and is so good on the top two lines. he isnt being given a good chance. he played so well in game 1 vs kings
we should resign skinny, he can do so well if he keeps up with this group. he’s definitely learning, its tough coming from a non-playoff team like buffalo to such a high pressure team like the oilers. hes good a great attitude

I don't think I'd play Jeff Skinner simply because he hasn't had much playoff experience.
But he's part of the team, for sure. I know he'll be there when we need him.

The Jets lost to the Stars in overtime in game six and are now eliminated. Always a tough loss in overtime. I hope the Jets and Oilers play each other in the Western Conference Final next year. I can see it happen. The Jets didn't win a single road game in the playoffs but then again the Jets don't usually go deep in the second round either. The Jets will improve in the playoffs. They have a lot of promise.
Knoblauch is playing chess, he knows skinner is more valuable as insurance for a top 6 skill role than a 3rd 4th liner at this very moment
Jeff Skinner doesn't deserve the cards he's being dealt. If he is such a professional, and he does have such a good attitude then he should be getting ice time, because he has arguably played better than some of the other bottom 6 players.
