    First, Shannon, thanks for all of your hard work. You are awesome and it isn't said enough. Second – I don't give a rat's backside about either of these teams but one looks built for the playoffs and the other one has Scheifele. Final thoughts: What is the purpose of Marchment? Designated whiner? I'd give some hard working kid a chance to take his spot in the next game. I'd also start Comrie in Dallas unless Hellebuyck has an amazing report from the sports psychologist. I don't really think either team can beat the Oilers in the next round – but I'll be rooting for one of them 😉

    Otter was great again, two bad bounces, ridiculous penalty to give them a 5 on 3 in the third period. Stars will end this tomorrow in Big D!!

    Stars didn't shoot enough. They were too busy looking for the "Perfect" play and those kept getting interrupted or broken up. If we had kept wiring pucks to the net it definitely would NOT have been a shutout. Start taking quality shots Dallas. Go Stars!

    Dallas went in playing regular season hockey. We need championship hockey play. They had a chance to get some rest before the Western final.

    The silver lining for Dallas is we outplayed Winnipeg 5v5. Winnipeg finally broke through on the power play: 1:40 for a 5v3 is too long with Lindell in the box.

    A lucky goal and a 5v3 goal in playing in Winnipeg is enough to kill off the victory chances for the road team.

    Back to Dallas to hopefully get this closed out. Been a fun series!

    No the PP was bad. Winnipeg did fine. But Dallas passed it until they lost it every time. Plenty of chances to shoot low and get a rebound for a guy back door. Their PP did in fact suck. Their offense in general did.

    Good to see a little pressure on the stars now. Next game isn’t going to eliminate stars but if they lose all the momentum is with the jets. I’m ok with that

    I don’t think Lindell was thinking anything behind the net. He just trip and lost control of his stick and tripped the player. Completely unintentional but a trips and trip, two minutes.

    I feel like the officiating last night was terrible across the board. I'm a Stars fan and I will say it was just bad period. If that ref hadn't have stepped in between Benn and Scheifele I think those two could have just gotten it out and moved on. The ref stepped in too soon and immediately things got turned up to 10 and then Tanev turned it up to 11.

    He's right, the officials should have been handing out 10s far earlier. They were calling bad penalties when they shouldn't have on stuff that's soft and missing penalty calls when they should have to deescalate things.

    Not making excuses for Dallas. We didn't show up and I don't think the refs were too imbalanced overall. I just think it was a generally badly officiated game.

    Either let them fight and get it out of their systems or defuse earlier. But the way they were going about it was sending some really weird mixed messages to the players and the fans

    All we need to do right now is believe. Believe in our team that has had it's back against the wall and came out on top. This is our year!

    As an Oilers fan, I want this series to go on as long as possible but I don't know who I want to win. I feel like we match up better against Dallas and a rolling Winnipeg would be kinda scary but I also love the idea of an all Canadian WCF which will mean at least one of us is guaranteed to go to the final because lord knows that other Canadian team isn't going to do anything

    The Jets are good at home but for whatever reason they just can't get it together on the road in particular Hellebuyck. Gonna be a tough game 6 in Dallas but hoping the best for the Jets.
