    Calling any team in the final 4 overrated is asinine. Thats like saying the oilers are frauds because they have no depth. Homerism is everywhere but come on man.

    Liam… you have amnesia bro? Yesterday you mention Oil sweep Stars in 4 later say maybe 5. Now it’s 5 or 6? What will it be tomorrow, Oil in 6 or 7. Playoff stats to date don’t mean much. Stars play the best 2 teams in the West and Oil barely beat LA. We’ve got a sketchy streaky goalie and that’s the position that matters most. If skinner gets skinned or the Stars expose Nurse or a weak PK performance or even hit a recovering Eklund then we might have problems. Not having home ice advantage might be a factor too where DeBoer can double shift his stud against Nurse or our weakest D.

    Defense advantage: Stars

    Scoring/ Offense advantage: Oil

    Special Teams: Stars
    (both PP&PK)

    Home Ice Advantage: Stars

    Coaching Advantage: Even
    (Except for Gm 7s, then Stars)

    Key man injuries: Oil

    X Factors: Oil goalie & ST

    Despite all this, I think Oil win in 7 and give DeBoer his first game 7 loss.

    Noooo to Marner, lol! He needs a whole different kind of boot camp to strip away his nine years of coddling and lack of accountability. He should be in Florida or Vegas, and Marchand should be in Toronto! Though it’s debatable that Edmonton needs any tinkering, if they could use anyone it would be someone like Bennet. Yet Bennet would be very useful in Toronto too, along with Marchy.
