well every time it looks like Florida might not repeat, they play like they are going to repeat.. Carolina has had a lot of shots, if they are ever going to get past this hump, now is the time.. Hope Carolina does it.. then plays Edmonton, and loses.
If Andersen makes it through the series I think Carolina wins

Carolina is a super boring team to watch play. Unwatchable!
This game will be decided by how good Bobrosky is. He's been Jeckel and Hyde against Toronto. If he's turned the corner and can keep this low scoring to match Anderson, Panthers can grind it out in 6, but probably 7. No sweeps here.

I think Carolina is going to beat Florida this time. Carolina has terrific speed. They are in form. I watched all 4 final teams, how they pass pucks, block shots etc and Carolina looked the best. I know people are picking Florida, being last years Stanley Cup champions, I'm picking Carolina
First two meetings canes didn’t have an actual NHL goalie. Had AHL and AHL backup.
I think Dallas is going to beat Edmonton in the other final. I'm saying it's going to be an upset I don't like Edmonton although I'm Canadian. They praise Connor McDavid and Leon Draisatl. They are overrated in my opinion. All the Canadian NHL teams suck. No Canadian team has won the cup since 1993

As long as Anderson doesn't do anything stupid….Canes should do well. Their playing the dirtiest team in the league. I used to have great respect for Paul Maurice….not anymore. He wins a bit and becomes an obnoxious ahole. Paul your a .500 coach all day.

Florida-Carolina in 2023 was the closest 'sweep' I've seen in my lifetime. I actually thought Carolina outplayed Florida in every game with the possible exception of Game 1 being close to even.
People keep talking about goaltending and defense. I agree that that will need to be huge again. BUT Carolina's goal scoring dried up in the past. In my opinion, if they can continue to score they will be fine. I do believe if Carolina plays their best they are the better team.
From a Devils fan, I really don't agree with the narrative that the Canes are boring to watch whatsoever. They constantly pressure you continuously flying around, they always seem to have someone to pass to, and they shoot everything which is very engaging to watch…for me at least. I always say it's like they play with rabies.

One key factor, Shannon, is, Freddy Anderson dod not play in any of the 3 games agsinst Florida. Caroliba is better tgsn they were two years ago, and they've upped the ampunt of times they deliver hits, which is pivotal. Carolina wins this series.

Sooo tired of all this Panthers-Panthers-Panthers juggernaught stuff. They are NOT beating Carolina this time. Freddy Andersen is going to stone them. Florida better not try taking out Andersen like they did Stolarz. They do this when they know they cannot beat a specific goaltender.
I really feel like this is the year the Canes will prove doubters wrong. They're well rested and experienced in the playoffs. Dominant at home. Excellent golatending right now and previous weakpoints have been improved. Everyone is picking the Panthers it seems because of their depth but I think the Canes are once again being heavily underestimated. Canes in 6.
Also remember that in the November meetings, Carolina didn’t have Freddie or even Kochetkov. Injuries forced them to use a true AHL tandem, as one can tell from the scores.
Respect for Carolina, as a cats fan, seeing us sweep them and all that jazz is cool but we know how they play and we know not to take them lightly, they made it this far for a reason. Gunna be one heck of a serious win or lose was a good season and can’t wait for tonight
Hard to call this one. Panthers figured out how to intimidate the leafs. I'd like to think the Canes have a bit more fortitude in them. Frustrate the panthers and they can win.
