Let me know your expectations for the Isles this off season
This “new” ownership group was all about the building and land. They are not hockey people and seemingly don’t have the necessary liquidity to invest in the team. SELL!
Isles just lost Horvat. They better make a free agency splash.
Most of the coaches are Lou's guys. I think Roy should be allowed to pick his own guys.

Younger, Bigger, Faster, Nastier, skilled….. islanders are paying for years of trading away number 1 picks and drafting horrible players that are not even in the NHL or barely! Dal Collie or whatever his name was , Walstrom, Kiefer Bellows terrible! Giving jobs to friends or sons! No no no! They need to build with draft picks and prospects! No quick try to fix something that is totally broken! Patience is needed! The Islanders need help in every position on every line not just one player! No Shanny! No Marner! We made the conference finals only because of the drastic circumstances caused by the Covid outbreak. We were never good enough to be a contender.
Tsyplykov, Dobson, Romanov, Holmstrom, Gatcomb all get new deals.
Maybe we take Mesa, and draft defenseman next year with our two 1st round picks.
Not wasting a buyout on Engvall, Mayfield or JGP, It's not worth it. We NEVER land free agents!. JT will never be welcomed back. Marner isn't going to leave money on the table to join the Islanders.
