Nous avons eu notre première équipe à avancer pour la finale de la conférence alors que les Oilers d’Edmonton ont éliminé les Golden Knights de Vegas en cinq matchs. C’est là que Jason et Frank ont commencé aujourd’hui dans un nouvel épisode de la délabrement du MPO. C’est la troisième finale de la Conférence de l’Ouest en quatre ans pour Connor McDavid and Company, et celui-ci semble être le plus inattendu du groupe. Gregor a posé la question de savoir quel nouvel entraîneur était dans une meilleure position à l’avenir. Frank a également mis à jour sur certains autres postes d’entraîneurs et les candidats pour les combler. Tyler est ensuite entré avec une nouvelle édition de Fill In The Blank, où il a interrogé les gars de la liste des 50 meilleurs agents libres de Frank, la liste de courses de Ken Holland à Los Angeles et les deux autres séries en cours dans les éliminatoires de la Coupe Stanley. Why does everybody’s evaluation of this team start with last years team? The oilers sure are not doing that. They are taking it a game at a time and knobby is making brilliant adjustments, they can play any style and just win. The depth is there. Goals from everywhere. Do they look slow? Yes they lost some youth but wasn’t the mantra experience matters in playoffs? Talk about Dallas’s depth all you want. Good deep team sure. You’ll see. And then everybody can talk about last year and go through the same bs when they meet Florida with home ice advantage.

EDM is slower on paper, but only on paper, which doesn't matter because the games are played on the ice. Its not valid to say they are older and slower than last year when the only place that shows is on paper. They are benefiting from their experience and speed hasn't been an issue at all.
