  1. It's a little too late. I've been saying this for years. Get rid of him. 🗑. Brand new era, lmaoo and what was the other eras since 67 lol

  2. Should have been done two years ago.

I like Brendan, I really do, but the Shanaplan and his pig-headed determination to stick to it regardless of results put the Leafs years behind.

  3. I have been one of the most vocal advocates on your channel regarding the need to dismiss Dubas, as I have been deeply concerned that he would squander the golden opportunity that Leaf Nation has waited over 50 years for. My fervor was such that I even sent a letter via courier through Federal Express directly to Shanahan from Asia, imploring him to trade away players 88 and 16 in 2023 before their no-trade clauses took effect. I warned him that this was the team's last chance; otherwise, when he realized that the core would not perform as he believed it would, it would be too late. The team's chances of winning the Cup would become exceedingly slim, and he would inevitably face dismissal.

Now, I believe the only viable option is to retain just one player from the core: either 34, 88, or overpaid, 16 to resign him. Matthew 34 has consistently suffered injuries lately , scoring only four goals in 24 playoff games. 88, while a defensive liability, can provide three points in one game and then disappear completely with none in the next four. Player 16 possesses good skills and is known for his no-look passes during the playoffs, yet his style and physicality do not suit playoff hockey. He accumulates many points in the regular season, but it is worth noting that approximately 45% of those points are secondary assists, with his goal tally typically around twenty per season. We should retain only one player from the core and build around number 23. We must let go of 91 and 44, as their presence disrupts the team dynamics. As long as they remain, the new players will struggle to lead effectively. This may sound extreme, but I hold the same opinion I expressed in 2018 when I indicated that Dubas was toxic but everyone reply me in the chat ‘ you are mad ‘ otherwise in 2027 After two years, everyone the Leafs Nation will recognise that the only viable option is to rebuild and start over again. I am willing to bet my house on this.

  4. Iam so happy that he's gone.he never did anything good for the Leafs.I used to be a Leafs fan.but not any more.those Leafs sucks.every year is the same f.. king BS they played li little girls.I hope thy fired all those idiots

  5. No player should have a no-trade and who gave all 4 core players that? A rookie Gm who never been in Toronto. Who was responsible for that? The president.

  6. Biggest regret he didn't get to finish the job lol what's he want another ten years did he seriously think his past would never catch up with him , i thank god for real leaf fans who showed their true love for this organization by outwardly displaying their frustration the true architect of this mess is Larry Tanenbaum

  7. Shanahan isn’t the problem . They should be looking at the front 4 a couple of players need to be spoken to . get their butts in geer get in the corners and dig for that puck take a hit and give a hit players need to play there positions . What’s replacing Shanahan going to do ?

  8. Based only on what he's done in Toronto, Shanahan should never be allowed near the head office of any hockey team.

  9. let's not go nuts on this so called firing, the contract was not going to be renewed. it starts at the top, Shanny had 10 years, promising change. He didn't make the necessary changes. Now Treliving should be nervous he did make a few bad deals in, Laughton, and Brando. Thanks Shanny, you did bring a good team. The input from the existing coaching staff should have heavy input on the teams direction.

  10. Pelly has done nothing with his other Jokes for Sports Teams, Raptors, TorontoFC, and the Blue Jays but now is taking over oversight of the Leafs with his small mans big Ego. This guy is a Joke.

  11. I wouldn't necessarily just blame Shanahan for this team's lack of success in the playoffs! Problem is the Leafs players lack the commitment and toughness neccessary to winning Lord Stanley!

  12. About time.

Cherry picker Nylander should be traded.

    Rielly should be traded.

Re sign Marner no more than 12 mil a year

Laughton was Trelivings biggest mistake, paid way too much for a fourth liner.

    Leafs should go after
    Brock Nelson
    Sam Bennett

  13. Why not add a clause to contracts about performance?

Fail to achieve certain amount achievable milestones in a season should mean pay needs to be adjusted for value or contract need to be renegotiated
